To completely refurbish the Service User area's whilst the building remained live and in full operation was no easy task but thanks to our careful planning and dedicated workforce we have totally transformed this unit into a modern inviting environment to enable the Trust to implement their 'New Dawn' approach. 

Key to the projects success was the flexibility of our workforce to work a combination of days, nights and weekends to enable noisy and intrusive works when occupancy of the building was at its lowest - most of the time Service Users and Staff didn't even know we were there!!

Works undertaken:-

• Demolition of walls and installation of new to suit new layout
• Replacement of metal suspended ceiling system
• Acoustic insulation works within ceiling voids
• Replacement of doors, frames and ironmongery
• Replacement of floor coverings
• Plaster skim and decoration
• Installation of new toilet facilities
• New energy efficient lighting throughout
• New air conditioning installations and modificaton of existing system
