Unit B2 - Oldbury

A bit of imagination was required when Lawlors were appointed as Main Contractor for the refurbishment of this unit.  The previous tenant had converted the warehouse area into a call centre by installing suspended ceilings, partition and block walls, soft flooring, airconditioning and substancial electrical and data installations throughout the entire warehouse.

Needless to say the strip out element of the project was extensive and included shot blasting and chemical cleaning of the whole floor area to remove flooring adhesive prior to applying a heavy duty floor paint.  The portal frame was coated in a different colour to give the unit a lighter feel and blockwork walls were repaired and recoated.  All rooflights were replaced and upgraded to step safe. The office block was entensively refurbished and external cladding repaired and recoated with a specialist cladding coating.

The end result was a unit that was 'as good as new' and the landlord was amazed at the transformation that we had managed to achieve in such a short time scale.  Within weeks of completion a new tenant was moving in!
